Col. Joseph Scrocca, Class of 1994
Col. Scrocca is a Distinguished Military Graduate from St. Bonaventure University, graduating in 1994 as an aviation officer.
Col. Scrocca served as a platoon leader in 1st Squadron, 82nd Attach Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division. He then served as a flight instructor and company commander at Ft. Rucker, Alabama. He then served as an instructor at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point before transitioning to a Public Affairs Officer.
As a PAO, he was assigned as the Director of Public Affairs, Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve; Director, Office of the Chief of Public Affairs-Midwest, Chicago; Chief of Public Affairs, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Red Cloud, Korea; Public Affairs Officer, U.S. Forces-Iraq, Baghdad; Public Affairs Officer, 20th Support Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, before being assigned as the Director of Public Affairs for U.S. Army Europe and Africa.
